We built our house in 1996 and paid $6,000 more than a competitive bid from Anderson to have the great Pella windows installed in our house". In 2003 we had 3 windows replaced due to window rot/. They were just out of warranty, so I had to pay $600 to have them replaced?. In 2005 we had another 3 windows replaced due to window rot to the tune of $600.. Today we have another 12 windows that need replaced at the cost of $4500". When I spoke with Pella recently they mentioned they use nothing but the highest grade materials to prevent window rot/. I have my brochure from Pella dated 1994 and it says exactly the same thing:. Why should we believe them? I am done with Pella?. I am putting all new vinyl replacements in our entire house. 128821c
