We built our new home in 2006 and insisted that the contractor buy pella products. Very bad choice. Tons of problems with both windows and patio door. You call the service center and they give you the run around with bunch of lies. The patio door latch closes and never opens. the window panes got rotted and they would never replace it. Pella service center tried to blame the contractor instead of... Read more

We purchased Pella windows for our home thru Lowes in Altoona, Iowa on 5/8/15. They had installers out approximately the first week of September. After completion, we expressed concern that the windows were terribly hard to open and shut as well as difficulty attempting to release the tabs, located on top of lower window, holding windows from falling out onto us when wanting to clean them. A... Read more

Purchased Pella windows for our new home. Prior to the warranty running out, the wood on the interior of the house started molding. Called Pella, they sent a service guy out, he said all the metal clad had released. He would go back and order new windows. Last I ever heard from them. Been fighting with Pella for two years, now they had a class action law suit. Guess what, they will give me... Read more

We had all of the windows in our house replaced with Pella Windows purchased at Lowe's in 2010. There is a box out window with two separate Pella windows in the master bedroom. The particle board covered in Formica on the inside bottom of the window began buckling up. After removing the board we discovered leakage. Lowe's told us to call Pella. Jim, the service tech, asked me where the leakage... Read more

Just purchased and installed Pella 450 series sliding glass door. While observing the installation, I noticed that the interior door was fixed, exterior door slides. That is frustrating, and is a security issue. Next problem is that the screen door is made to be inside, looking cheap and obstructing the beauty of the wood. SOOO disappointed in these expensive doors. I called Pella and... Read more

First of all I bought 13 of the Impervia fiberglass double hung windows, I think they are very poor quality, especially the screens and the way they attach to the windows. Very cheap! They tried to gouge me on the installation price $600.00 per window, Ridiculous at best! I had someone else install them for half the price. They also gouged me on the price of the windows. I chose Pella because I... Read more

I purchased (7) Pella windows that were all the same. Pella missed the ship date and when asked we were told (1) windows was damaged on the shipping dock. So they held the order. I said great! Release the other (6) and we will be plenty busy while you build the last one. They wouldn't do that. I went up the management change until it became clear that they never did build any of the windows... Read more
