I purchased (7) Pella windows that were all the same. Pella missed the ship date and when asked we were told (1) windows was damaged on the shipping dock. So they held the order. I said great! Release the other (6) and we will be plenty busy while you build the last one. They wouldn't do that. I went up the management change until it became clear that they never did build any of the windows... Read more

within the first two years of purchasing all new windows for my 5000q. ft. home, they all started to get condensation between the out window panes and the removable inner window. Then I started getting mold in same areas. I did whatever the company suggested and things just continued to get worse. The sent inspectors but never helped me except to offer me the opportunity to buy new windows and... Read more

I am a high end contractor! I purchased over $500,000.00 worth of PELLA windows/ doors! As everyone knows their seals deteiriated! Rotted, walls, floors, mold situations , on and on. Lied to homeowners that I installed incorrectly! Bottom line they have no concern with satisfying homeowners. Their warranty is worthless! DO NOT PURCHASE PELLA! Add comment

Recently purchased a home with Pella Windows. The home is 8 yrs old and a white film coats the exterior. Ive tried windex, vinegar, ammonia, CLR, degreaser...nothing works. Called local distribution for Pella and keep getting the run around. 2 phone calls and nothing. I've resorted to razor blade however 30+ windows will take forever. Would not purchase windows from Pella based on poor... Read more

After reading all of the negative reviews...I doubt that the company will help out but here goes!! I bought this twindo a month ago. Today while cleaniong windows, I have discovered that there is black mold on the top sash of every window. I did have the home inspected and knew there was a mold problem with the patio frame and one window. Now I am discovering it on every window. Ugh!! I was... Read more

Sliders and hung windows aprox $8,000 installed late 2011. Sliders don't close at top, I was told I could buy and install a separate latch :(. Really Pe..a? Windows are 3 years old and stick close but not due to latch:(. Windows are more noisy than originals by the cheap builder. We bought better windows to improve our life style. Pel..a has me un-sticking them and having to beg them to stay... Read more

installed 22 crank windows in 2003. They all must be replaced because of wood rotting issues. Something like 35,000 dollars. Thanks Pella. it started about three years after initial installation. One of the locking mechanisms failed. That only cost three hundred to repair. Out so warantee. Most of the windows will not close with the Crandall.mt put handles on all of them so I could pull them... Read more

When I built my home I purchased over $14,000.00 of Pella windows NOT including the installation cost. I recently received several flyers offering 40% off replacements. One of my windows had lost its seal and was rotten so I asked about the offer. I was told I didn't qualify, but I arranged to have the window fixed anyway, as it was unsightly. I was told I needed the sash only as this window did... Read more

We have called several times about our beautiful front door that has faded terribly, we had it refinished three times already and not from PELLA because they never got back with us. It is an expensive door too. All our windows are the designer collection and have the blinds inside the window, never liked the pull strings either. Would like to send pictures of the door. I am very disappointed in... Read more

This company uses its name to make a buck while making a crappy product. Its horrible to its customers and is even worse to its employees. Probably one of the most unreliable windows and doors ever made. Add comment
